About Us

Sew-What!

We started attending Renaissance and Pirate Fairs so , so many years ago.  It was fun, and the people there so warm and inviting.  They don't expect you to talk "Renaissance", but love to practice their old world speech and mannerisms on you!

It is like traveling back in time.  A time where men were men, unafraid of courtly gestures or eating cholesterol filled food!

Ladies were given special treatment.  Pirates and their Pirate Wenches just had fun, and children learned from life.

As you explore our website, you will see many styles of clothing from our history.

The Renaissance Era:  Men's and Women's Renaissance clothing.

Adventure on the High Seas:  Men's and Women's Pirate clothing.

So, sit back and relax, and happy shopping!

About us and our company Sew-What?

Debbie on the left and Carolynn on the right!

Carolynn and Debbie, two lifelong friends, love designing and creating
costumes and clothing.

Carolynn lives in Citrus Heights, works from her sewing room(s) in the
warm California sunshine.  She watches Elvis Presley's movies and
Gilmore Girls,  while making the most amazing clothing you will ever see,
outside of an Edith Head movie!

Debbie recently moved to Las Vegas, and is happily settling in to
new surroundings.

Our goal:  To live in the same state and design costumes for
 movie and theater.
